Steve Broadwater has never accepted a dime from corporate America that wasn’t ordered by a Court in judgment or agreed to by settlement since attending law school in 2007. His entire career has been focused on representing the people of Appalachia against greedy corporate interests.
Steve focuses his practice on the consumer rights of his clients. Whether its discharging debts on bankruptcy or prosecuting consumer class actions in the state and federal court of West Virginia, Steve is standing up to big business on behalf of our community. Steve has been particularly interested in going after debt collectors who collect zombie debt (debt that’s so old, you can’t be sued for it) or trying and collect illegal fees from consumers. Consumers have rights – and Steve is happy to talk with anyone who thinks their rights have been violated.
With Stewart Bell, Steve is excited to continue fighting for the rights of people who may be abused or neglected by very people who are paid to take care of them in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals throughout the region.
